The JOEY Browser Extension
Install the extension, connect it to your account, and understand exactly what it does and does not do.
What it does
The JOEY extension reads your DriveCentric conversations and shows you relay-generated drafts, right where you already work. It talks only to JOEY, and it never changes the page. Your dashboard also shows a live connection status card (Not installed, Installed but not connected, or Connected) so you always know whether this browser is set up correctly.
What it does not do yet
The extension does not send messages on its own. Sending a text, call, or email through the extension's own send rail is not built yet and is rolling out, not available today. What is live today is the automated outreach that runs through your connected CRM once your account is active, plus the extension showing you drafts and status inside DriveCentric.
Installing it
Download the extension from your dashboard or from the Install steps page. It downloads as a .zip file. Unzip it into a folder you will not delete, then open chrome://extensions in Chrome and turn on Developer mode using the toggle in the top right.
Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped joey-extension folder. JOEY appears in your extensions list. Click the puzzle-piece icon and pin JOEY so it stays one click away.
Enrolling your device
From your JOEY dashboard, the Connect a browser card lets you generate a one-time enrollment code. Paste that code into the extension popup to link this browser to your account. The code expires after 15 minutes, so generate it right before you use it.
JOEY runs on one browser at a time. Generating a new code and connecting a different browser signs JOEY out of any other browser it was previously running on, so if you switch computers, re-enroll on the new one when you get there.
Confirming it is connected
Back on your dashboard, the Extension card shows the live status: a green dot with Connected means the extension is installed and enrolled and you are good to go. An amber dot means it is installed but not enrolled yet, run the enrollment step above. A gray dot means the extension is not detected on this device at all.
